It’s been quite a while since we last heard from Zilla Rocca and the Shadowboxers. 2009, to be exact, when they dropped the underground full-length The Slow Twilight. Today Zilla unveils plans for his follow up, No Vacation For Murder. The album is set to feature guests like Open Mike Eagle, Roc Marciano, Has-Lo and more.
Today we get our first look at the album, by way of audio and accompanying visuals for “Fake Surfers”. The track is dark and demented, just like what we have heard from Rocca on previous efforts. But the production feels more polished, and the track itself sees the Philadelphia MC more focused than ever.
