Lyrics, stories and the like are all important when weighing the perceived talent of various artists. However, many musical talents who may lack in those (subjective) categories aforementioned manage to maintain buzz, relevancy and fan bases by enveloping themselves in sonic landscapes that strike a chord with listeners and by taking full advantage of their most important, natural asset: voice.
Young Moe mastered this formula with the release of his visuals for the somber and melancholic song “Nothin Comes Easy”. Snowballing piano notes – courtesy of Bravestarr – paint a rainy picture as Moe moves through the frame, delivering with a certain cadence and melodic tune a flawless performance. It’s also worth noting that while Moe does not boast wildly impressive rhythmic patterns or clever wordplay, he speaks with a sense of honesty that proves just as powerful.
