The Wu-Block project—it’s led by Ghostface Killah and Sheek Louch—has been a long time coming. And, honestly, I’m doing my best to not get overly hyped for it. Too many times I have gassed myself up over collaborative projects like this only to be extremely disappointed by the end product. As such, it’s taking everything in me to not get excited after seeing the track listing. I mean, it’s enough that Ghostface is on almost every track, but that joint with Sheek, Masta Killa, GZA, and Erykah Badu? Lawd. Wu-Block drops Nov. 27. [via]

    i been very pleased with the loosies so far on this project. nice beat selection. it is not rza but it is enjoyable.
