I got hipped to the sounds of Philly’s Work Drugs in mid-December, when the “smooth-fi” duo’s “Third Wave” appeared on my radar. As I previously explained, I was a bit skeptical of the them at first, what with the plethora of lo-fi acts flooding the ‘net. But I got hooked to that track and its follow-up, the aptly titled “Dog Daze”. Sure to leave you in some kind of lazy-eyed trance, it’s a slightly soothing, albeit static-y, cut sure to drive some of you absolutely wild, though others will no doubt be kind of disappointed by the drone-ish feel.
Check out the track after the jump. [via]
