You might know Will Sessions as the dudes who helped make Elzhi’s ELmatic project that much doper. Well, before that, they were making a name for themselves as the backing band for the likes of Black Milk, Phat Kat, and Guilty Simpson. And luckily for everyone who wasn’t able to catch those concerts, Will Sessions put together this compilation, Real Sessions, of some of their finer live performances. With Black Milk, Phat Kat, and Guilty on the mic, the Detroit soul-funk outfit rips through instrumentals by J Dilla, Madlib, and Nick Speed, among others.
