I’ve been waiting on a new project from Atlanta rapper Will since he dropped Stoned in Stang in the summer of 2011. Yeah, it feels like forever since I got hipped to dude’s talents, but, thankfully, he released his latest effort this week. He picked out a pretty fitting title for the album, I.L.L., because this shit really is fucking ill. It features smoked-out production from those in his circle, like Lazy Mane and Kosherbeets, along with SMKA and the almighty DJ Burn One. As for the rhymes, they’re delivered through a cool-as-fuck flow and should remind you of some of your favorite Southern spitters.
