Wiley quickly hopped back on my coverage radar earlier this year when he began teasing his forthcoming album, 100% Publishing, that’s set to drop in July. The British rapper-producer is handling everything on the project, meaning he’s behind each and every beat. He’s also the one vocalist on the project, which caught my attention because we all know how rap albums can become bloated with guests. But Wiley wants to keep it simple, something he is portraying here in the beautiful video for “If I Could”. The uplifting track is complemented by footage of Kingston, Jamaica’s most gorgeous and downtrodden areas, which Wiley uses to tell the story within his rhymes.
