We were excited, to say the least, to hear Wiley‘s return to his grime roots on his new single, “Flying“, which happens to be one of my favorite songs of the summer. I was eagerly anticipating how he would go about bringing the energetic track to the visual realm and, thankfully, he did not disappoint. Wiley enlisted the help of absurdly talented animator Ruff Mercy, known for his work with ScHoolboy Q, Blu, Notes to Self, and many others, and the resulting video is certifiably bonkers. If you need an extra boost this morning, keep this on repeat.
