Wax – “Don’t Need” p. EOM

As soon I as heard Wax and EOM’s Liquid Courage album a few years back, I was hooked on the music these dudes create together. Since then, they haven’t released anything official beyond some scattered tracks and videos. But when they look and sound as good as “Don’t Need”, I can’t really complain, can I? Wax gets his storytelling on here over EOM’s super-smooth production while the animated visuals are guided by the MC’s lyrics. It all makes for a fully engrossing experience that also serves as a promotional tool for Wax’s forthcoming Scrublife mixtape.
