We’ve known about J Dilla‘s latest posthumous album, Rebirth of Detroit, for what seems like an eternity. But it appears that the project is finally read to drop. It’s got what looks like a firm release date of June 12. The reason I say that is because his mother, Ma Dukes, helped put together an inspiring trailer for the album that you can watch below. As much as posthumous albums make me nervous, this has officially piqued my interest.
