Watch: The Stepkids Cover Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky”

Dear Producers,

Before you even try to dig in to this new Daft Punk album, which I am sure you already have, take a step back and listen to this Stepkids cover of “Get Lucky”. You see, what we have here is a fantastic reinterpretation of what is already being deemed the single of the year. Without stripping it of all its soul, somehow, the Stepkids were able to transform the lovable Pharrell-featured song into an equally stunning jazz trio rendition.

Now, I am not discouraging your attempt to take on any of Daft Punk’s newest works. But when looking at the big picture, do you want to be just another artist charting on Hype Machine, or do you want to be recognized for your flawless delivery of music works like the Stepkids?
