Back in May, Shabazz Palaces and their frequent collaborators/Sub Pop labelmates, THEESatisfaction, delivered a Boiler Room performance that was surely incredible. I can say that with confidence because a portion of Shabazz’s set hit the web and to label it “entertaining” would be selling it short. The Seattle duo kills it vocally and on their respective instruments, which makes me feel like even more of a dunce for missing their show in Durham. Oh well, at least I have this.
