After the insightful first part of the Homeboy Sandman documentary, the New York City MC continues to expose himself to the world with part two. Getting more inquisitive and philosophical, this is a great example of where all of Sandman’s mind-blowing lyrics come from. With some studio and on-stage time, we are finally getting to understand a rapper that we have already loved for so long. Homeboy Sandman’s First of a Living Breed is due out Sept. 18 via Stones Throw.
