Without a doubt, Open Mike Eagle has been one of my favorite rappers of the past few years. And it’s been awesome to watch him get more coverage with each project he releases, though I do think some people slept on his latest EP, Sir Rockabye. Nevertheless, he’s giving it the push it deserves by performing one of its best tracks, “Degrassi Picture Day”, live on Intuition‘s Kinda Neat podcast. Armed with his MIDI keyboard—someone tell me otherwise and I’ll correct this—Mike kills it and proves that you should be paying attention to him if you’re not already. I mean, you heard him rip apart that track earlier today right?
