Watching an artist flip through music in a record store is an entertaining but also very revealing activity. Rifling through shelves of new and used records it’s easy to tell where someone’s influences come from and also where they have their eye on next. In this case, and thanks to Pitchfork TV,we get Nosaj Thing. He has a new full length album in the works that is already shaping up to be quite nice, hopefully coming out in the near future.
With this short bit we get a chance to hear his new music again as well as some some words on what shapes his motivation and direction as an artist. He touches on, as well as makes the purchase of, a record that I’m sure many Potholes readers have similar feelings about.
