Not only did he win Lyricist of the Year, but Kendrick Lamar got the chance to perform two of his current singles on stage at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Choosing radio hits “The Recipe” and “Swimming Pools (Drank)”, Lamar proves to everyone watching exactly why he won the award. Not that anyone else nominated really stood a chance, though.
