Last night, Kanye West headlined the Governors Ball music festival on Randall’s Island right outside of New York City. And in addition to performing a slew of his biggest hits, he debuted several tracks off his soon-coming new album, Yeezus. They include “I Am A God”, “On Site”, and an untitled tune, all of which find Kanye embracing a more electronic and, as predicted, darker sound than we’ve heard before.
Potholes’ own David Reyneke and John Healey were in attendance, and here’s how the latter described portions of the set:
So how many people will be salty for Yeezus sounding mad electronic, or does everyone just go with it?
