Very early this morning, Frank Ocean uploaded a teaser video to Vimeo called “Channel Orange” and we’re having trouble figuring out exactly what it is. It could be the name of the smooth-as-hell song playing in the clip, but the lyrics lead me to believe the song’s title is “Cleopatra” or something similar. Maybe it’s a new mixtape? Or an EP? Or it is a song and it’s his lead single for Def Jam? Whatever it is, it sounds great so far. Oh, and we’ll have a better idea of what it is on July 17, apparently.
Update: Channel Orange is the name of his new album (!!!!!!).
