Less than one week after the ribbon-cutting affairs that signaled the grand opening of DJ Premier’s new website, PremierWuzHere.com, the legendary producer has engaged in content creation of a different variety: “Bars in the Booth”, an ongoing, online series that brings some of Premo’s favorite emcees into the studio for a rap jam session of sorts.

Dres, a Queens-bred hip-hop artist and member of historic alt-rap group Black Sheep, guest stars here in the second episode of “Bars in the Booth”. He cleverly wraps rhymes together in a flawlessly smooth delivery, much to the joy of Premier who can be seen smiling behind his recording gear. Watch Dres rap an entire song – hook and all – in what seems to be one take below.
