Here are some things you need to know about D’Angelo‘s amazing comeback performance at this year’s BET Awards
- He opened with, and absolutely nailed, “Untitled (How Does It Feel)”.
- He looked extremely comfortable and, as such, ready to really do this.
- You could tell who had a soul by who was dancing and/or standing while D’Angelo and his band were playing. For example, Beyonce and Solange are loving it while Nicki Minaj looks confused. Of course.
- He performed a new track, “Sugar Daddy“, that sounds f*cking incredible.
- He’s back.
