We are a sucker for old Kanye West footage, so we got extra excited when Coodie of Creative Control liberated a video from 1998 of him interviewing Kanye West and Ma$e at Jermaine Dupri’s birthday in Atlanta, Georgia. This was during the Harlem World era, where Ma$e went on to sell several million copies with the help of JD and many more on production. West was still rising at this point, but it is interesting to see how each of these guys have come, one in a better direction than the other. [via]
