The boom-bap specialist, who recently dropped Extended Play, throws a blindfold on, heads into the record store, and starts digging blindly. He ends up with three LPs and heads to the studio to get to work. He whips up a beat pretty quickly using a killer sample of the Sylvers that all you Foreign Exchange fans should recognize instantly. Statik also hopped on his turntables to throw a Jay Z vocal cut into the mix, because it wouldn’t be a Statik track without a scratched hook.
