Video: Pusha T Speaks on “Cruel Winter” Rumors

pusha-t-mtvIt looks like the whole Cruel Winter rumor mill might finally shut down. In this recent interview with MTV, Pusha T, who just dropped Wrath of Caine, explains that the second G.O.O.D. Music project isn’t coming our way anytime soon. Well, he doesn’t say those exact words, but he does note that there were intentions for Cruel Winter. He also says that he recorded a ton of verses over beats, but who knows where those will end up.

So is this is then? I hope so, because this is frustrating. Yet, a part of me enjoys it because I get the feeling this is all some cheap way of creating hype and press about a project that will end up dropping out of nowhere. I bet.

major label shit is never out of the blue, unless they plan on making it a mixtape with no label influence. i’m holding my breath.

Oh, yes. I agree with you 100%. They’ll create the hype, then shut it down. Then, all of a sudden, BAM, “Ladies and Gentlemen, we present to you…’Cruel Winter'”. Ye’ would definitely pull something like that. So, it intrigues me even more.
