Video: Pusha T Names Guest Features and Producers On ‘My Name Is My Name’

pusha-t-suitIt’s not that we weren’t looking forward to Pusha T‘s proper solo debut, My Name Is My Name, or anything like that. But when we heard “Numbers On The Boards” last week?! Cot-damn, did we get excited about the prospect of the rest of his record being on that level. And to shed some light on what we can expect from the album, Pusha sat down with Fuse to reveal the guest features and producers on the project, the latter of which I’m pretty hyped for.

The producers include Pharrell, Kanye West, The-Dream, Rico Beats (who did “Exodus”), Nottz, Don Cannon, Swizz Beatz, and Hudson Mohawke. Chyeah. As for the features, we’ll hear Pusha joined by Kendrick Lamar, Future, Rick Ross, Ab-Liva, Kanye West, and 2 Chainz. I could do without a few of those, but I’m going to reserve my feelings for when I hear it.

  1. Or twelve.

  2. At this point I’m actually questioning Kanye’s desire…he’s been the face of rap music for almost a decade, he’s put out some of the most incredible albums to date, and he’s about to have his first kid with a tabloid queen…he really has nothing to prove and some of the work he’s put out has been a little left-field, like spending so much energy on a non-GOOD Music cat like 2 Chainz…it really makes me wonder why Cudi left the label, to be honest

  3. Agreed. You don’t form a clique like they did and don’t attempt to branch out to each other’s different fanbases by jumping on a feature or two. It’s just a bunch of dudes Kanye works with regularly so far.

  4. Exactly, I’m not taking anything from those 3 individually but collectively GOOD Music has been a let-down.

  5. nah yeah i’m real surprised if there isnt at least one song with the good music foot soldiers on it…but besides pusha, common n ye i’m not really fucking with any of their music

  6. All I’m saying is what’s the point of forming a “clique” if you don’t even collaborate with them? GOOD Music and the GOOD Music team is a joke

  7. thank god cyhi and big sean arent gon be on it tho…not inspired by these features but producers look good except swizza

  8. Every feature is the same, I swear…2 Chainz, Ross, Kendrick….if features are a staple of the game now, why not either limit your features to your clique or swing for the fences and snag an out-of-this-world artist like Adele?

Like what’s the point of GOOD Music if they’re going out of the house for features? Shouldn’t Pusha’s features be CyHI, Medium Sean, etc?

    Fuck features, man.

  9. some one needs to play pusha dizzie rascal – boy in da corner and say “make an album that sounds like that”.

  10. That’s pretty much what I expected as far as guest features. Not that exciting. Maybe if he had a track or two with his brother…
