“Freestyles” for radio show hosts are a dime-a-damn-dozen these days, with most rappers resorting to written or rehearsed rhymes when they get behind the microphone. But not Kendrick Lamar. During his visit to The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, he threw his hood on and rattled off bar after bar based on the cards given to by the show’s host. He really hits the pocket after the 1:30 mark, which is followed by the cheers of everyone watching him doing his thing. It gets a little goofy at times after that (lol at the Miley Cyrus line), but Kendrick hold his own here. Watch below.
