More often than not, radio stations ask rappers to spit a freestyle live on the air to, you know, make their programming a touch more interesting and exclusive. And in most cases, those freestyles are just written verses delivered over a different beat. But every now and again, a rapper is forced to actually go off the top, like Kendrick Lamar when he stopped by the K104 studio yesterday. He was asked to freestyle using topics presented to him on cue cards and, sure enough, Lamar held his own. Watch the clip below.
