Johnny Polygon loves his perm. He loves it so much, in fact that he wrote a track about it on The Nothing called “Super No Lye”. The Picnictyme-produced cut is “literally a love song to my perm,” which Polygon reveals in his latest Deconstructing video. He talks about how it essentially came together by way of some low-key messing around: Polygon was mumbling to himself about how happy he was with his perm and intended on surprising Picnictyme with a melodic line about it on the song. The thing is, when the producer heard it, he dug it so much that he sampled the vocals and made it into the hook of “Super No Lye”.
