Video: Earl Sweatshirt Performs Three New Tracks Live In L.A.

earl-sweatshirt-hat-mouthEarl Sweatshirt performed live at the Low End Theory in Los Angeles last night during Flying Lotus’ set. And to the delight of the packed house, the Odd Future spitter debuted (at least) three new songs. They include the Pharrell-produced “Burgundy” that sounds f*cking awesome, “Hive” that will feature Vince Staples and Casey Veggies, and “Guild”. That final cut is a collaboration with Mac Miller, who was in the building to spit his guest verse and, really, he holds his own here. Maybe it’s just the excitement speaking, but sh*t. Watch below. Er… are you just assuming that or did Earl say something about it? It
does sound kinda like an Earl verse but idk… I don’t give a fuck about
Mac Miller, however this waaas the first time he actually impressed me.

Very true. Also, enjoying a Mac song is a first so I’m OK with that.

Earl helped him with that verse. Not that it’s a bad thing. Emcees often copy styles when on the same track. Even Jay used more multi-syllables rhymes than he normally does when he paired up with Em for Renegade
