After crushing the indie scene with their sensibly vintage self-titled debut, Unknown Mortal Orchestra is now ready for a sophomore album. Simply II, the new full-length will feature the previously released single “Swin And Sleep (Like A Shark)” — a catchy little tune that built nicely on their earlier work. Along with the album, the band plans on hitting the road to tour everywhere from Mexico to Australia. They also managed to fit in a Brooklyn, NY date, so all my Tri-State peeps should totally be in to that. Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s II is due out Feb. 5 via Jagjaguwar. [via]
