Under The Radar: Amp Live vs. Why? – One Dark Eskimo Remixes [EP]
Producer Amp Live, who many know as one-half of Zion I, is more than just a boom-bap beats creator. The guy also apparently loves to remix the hell out of whatever he can get his hands on. His most notable remix work saw him tackling tracks off Radiohead’s In Rainbows for the controversial Rainydayz Remixes project. But Amp Live didn’t stop there. In between crafting more beats for Zion I and his own solo record, he tried his hand at tracks off Why?’s Eskimo LP. The result is One Dark Eskimo Remixes, which technically dropped almost two months ago but just recently caught my eye. Enjoy!
