I always thought that U-N-I had potential, they just never quite lived up to it. But just as I give up a bit of hope on this California duo of new-school emcees, we get this latest cut off the upcoming Kings Keep Marching project. With THX on the boards providing a silky smooth production, Y-O and Thurz sound more comfortable and confident than ever. If these two continue to drop fresh, inspired music like “Muddy Jane”, we might just see a resurgence from U-N-I, whose hype has seemingly come and gone.
