While we had heard a number of rumors regarding a collaboration between Tyler, the Creator and Kanye West, it appears they have put much work in together. In fact, it appears that West wanted to jump on Tyler and Pharrell’s “IFHY”, but Tyler decided it would be best if he kept the raps to himself.
Here is what Tyler had to say about the situation on Formspring:
Cause it was mine. he wanted to be on IFHY too! but i was like, nah hahaha. ye is soo awesome, i talk to him almost everyday it seems like. its cool to have someone you can level with about art and everything else.
Tyler also took down any rumors about him appearing on the forthcoming Yeezus, although it doesn’t seem like there are any hard feelings between the two creative spirits. [via]
