See, Two Fresh aren’t your average production duo–they’re brothers. And Kendrick and Sherwyn Nicholls or Kendo and Shweez aren’t your average brothers either–they’re twins. The two twenty-something beat makers are from Denver, Colo. by way of Asheville, N.C. Their sound is a hip-hop electronic hybrid akin to trap all-stars Lunice and Hudson Mohawke, and they wouldn’t be out of place on say a Brainfeeder label. The twins dropped “Some Purple” because they were going to see A$AP Mob perform. (But, secretly I’m hoping a full project comes out of this.) They said, “Going to see the A$AP Mob tonight, felt its appropriate to drop this one, FREE DOWNLOAD!! SMOKE SOME PURPLE!” [via]
Yup. Press play and do as they say.
