The latest offering from the Soul Dojo provides us with an instrumental hip-hop project that eats, breathes, and probably sleeps with jazz. The Blue Note, quite the appropriate title if you ask me, represents Trebles and Blues’ debut album. And it takes you on a trip through different locales, emotions, and vibes while altogether bringing forth lush, chopped-up productions that will leave this one in your rotation. Looking to stay in and have a glass of bourbon by the fireplace? Put this on. Having some friends over for a mellow, mini-party? Turn up the volume and feel the subtle bass. I look forward to hearing what you have in store for us next time, Trebles and Blues. P.S. Thank you to Potholes contributor Mallory Pickard for the recommendation.

now take away all that soul, mellow, and beat guidance without stern direction, and we have the usual shit. leave that good stuff where it is, and we get the fantastic piece that this track is. Take some tips people…
