Just because Trebles and Blues released his debut, the absolutely killer The Blue Note, this past March doesn’t mean the West Coast producer is about to slow down. He’s apparently got a new project in the works, with “Summer Love” being the first sampling of what we can expect. It’s sounding like dude’s definitely looking to branch out stylistically as the track ditches the jazziness of The Blue Note for something that could soundtrack an ’80s action film. Well, it could at least be used during the lovey-dovey parts, which we all know happen more often than not in every over-the-top blockbuster out there. Foolishness aside, I cannot wait to hear what else Trebles and Blues has in store after hearing “Summer Love”, a track you’ll no doubt throw on your late-night playlist.
