It’s rare that a music submission to our e-mail just…speaks to me like this. But I saw the name, Trailer Limon, and was instantly intrigued. Then I saw the Bandcamp tags, which include “electro” and “slump,” and I just had to hit play. What hit my ears was a combination of dirty ’70s and ’80s grooves and soulful, funky-ass vocals that essentially guaranteed that I would be sharing this with you. If you are looking to get some funk in your life — and you should be, damn it! — you need to hear this EP, Special Dedication: The B-Sides.
