When we previously heard from the Bay Area’s Trackademicks, the funky fresh producer-rapper had dropped the final version of “Halfway“. It was a track that had been floating around in snippet form for years and had only then hit the web in its finished form, which we were grateful for considering the ill features from Phonte and Carlitta Durand. And today, Trackademicks has delivered a full-fledged EP of new music — “Halfway” is missing as it will appear on an upcoming album — that includes features from the likes of Freddie Gibbs, Phonte (who’s rapping!!!), 1-O.A.K., and several others.
