Chillwave is just one of those things that you immediately either love or hate. If you aren’t sure by now, chances are you have already missed out on much of the party. One of the leading forces in the Chillwave scene is Toro Y Moi. Not necessarily the deepest or most progressive music, but the vibes are absolutely infectious. Today we get our hands on a new leak off Toro Y Moi’s 7″, Leave Everywhere, which will be available July 20th via Carpark. “Leave Everywhere” has a fairly different vibe from past work, so i decided to include a throwback as a bonus. Toro Y Moi hasn’t been around very long, but you can already tell how much the sound is progressing. Check it out and share some thoughts!

Definitely a big Toro fan… picked up the Blessa 7″ a couple of weeks ago.
Not necessarily down with the genre in general, but this dude is killin it.
