While I don’t know too much about the Bronx MC Torch, it does appear that he is getting the full Maybach Music Group treatment. Teaming up with Meek Mill, Wale, Stalley, Gunplay and Young Breed, Funkmaster Flex (still hate you, DJ tags) liberates this drum breaking banger of a posse cut to boogie down to. While MMG can certainly produce some questionable rap tracks (see Meek Mill’s “House Party”), “Slowdown” is incredibly refreshing. I have no clue where this will land, but it does sit pretty damn well on its own.
