Earlier this week I was revisiting Torae’s solo album For The Record which dropped last November. There’s definitely some quality music on this album. Obviously the producers who contributed are the initial draw but lyrically Torae provides a blend of raw hip-hop and moments of introspection on songs like “Over You”. My favourite joint right now is definitely “Alive” which is produced by Khrysis. Torae just premiered his newest video “For The Record” produced by DJ Premier. Torae’s album For The Record is available on iTunes.
