Obviously it’s production, but even stylistically I don’t see the appeal. I listened to Palace a few times for the Clams Casino beat but I can’t stand stand track anymore just because Rocky. The album should have been entirely instrumental, it would’ve been fucking stellar.
KRIT shed some light on it re: free projects being able to use the samples you wish to. With retail projects it’s different and requires more money and time.
His mixtape is reminiscent of Wiz Khalifa’s “Kush & OJ” … It’s a production gem with a pretty decent level of style to it. The lyrics aren’t the selling point.
Clearly not a fan of swag.
Bunch a boo boo save Krit and Elzhi. I love Danny Brown’s potential but I just really have a problem with the majority of the tracks he chooses.
That was an amazing list. Great choice for one especially. I would personally add Milo- I wish my brother Rob was here
really good list. I missed a few and this reminded me to check them out. peace

Cool list but ASAP over KRIT? I understand people love Danny Brown, as do I and ASAP but the R4 project was massive.
But is there really anyone out there making a song as big as “Bass”? Thanks to people like Clams Casino, that album deserves a high spot.
Am I really the only one who thinks ASAP Rocky’s lyrics are ass? He doesn’t even hit the skin, much less cut deep.
It’s a sign of the times that the free list is better than the retail list. (Though those were good albums, too.) Hard days to be selling records.
!!! das the real list
