North Carolina is stacked with talented musicians … too many to mention and I’m sure you can already name a handful of winners without much thought. You can add producer Tokyo Hands to that list. The 19-year-old just dropped a slow burner called “positivity and kindness” and it’s a quintessential “just give it a minute” record. Its spacious environment and trickling synth-filled backdrop are the perfect buildup for what comes at around a minute into the track. I’m not going to spoil anything (SoundCloud’s wavelength kind of gives it away anyhow), but it gets HUGE. You’ll want to give this a listen.
