TOKiMONSTA – “Love Without Sound” (Mixtape)

Brainfeeder‘s TOKiMONSTA, L.A. artist Jennifer Lee, was once an “unfocused pupil of classical piano,” now she’s creating lucid, walking-dream mixes. [viaLove Without Sound molds White Noise’s 1968 song of the same name into an even more sophisticated, drum snap, ambient, sound profile. Her set builds as she works Tupac, Twin Sister and Dark Star, along with her own music, into a triptacular DJ mix filled with layers of electronic noise. It’s pleasing to just sit back and listen. It’s energetic enough to get me off my feet. It’s free, thanks to Oki-ni.  It’s TOKiMONSTA, what else do I need to say? Get it!
