After hearing about Arowbe’s name in conversations earlier this year, the “Late Night Toronto” single served as my introduction to emcee Arowbe and muti-instrumentalist Alexander. Collectively, they’re known as Times Neue Roman. You might have heard the duo’s single, “Way Way Down“, here or stumbled upon “Sade Is In My Tapedeck” previously

Their latest, “Late Night Toronto”, employs a fusion of live horns instruments and heavy bass with Arowbe flowing smoothly in and out of the Alex’s instrumental. What better way of paying tribute to Toronto than by getting the city’s rising voice, Rich Kidd, on the hook and showcasing our beloved mayor, Rob Ford, in some pretty ill late night jams?
