After Jay-Z, whenever a rapper names their album/mixtape/EP after a color my eyes roll backwards like I was touched by the Grim Reaper in the “Crossroads” video. But Time Wharp isn’t a rapper, and the BLK EP removes a vowel from the title and it somehow makes all the difference. He released the GRN EP last fall, and while it can still be considered hip hop, there’s some garage vibes on this one. And there’s also a few remixes from Raja, Obey City, and The Range.
