Thurz continues to prove that he can go it alone on 517 W Queen Tape. The former U-N-I member actually made it clear going solo was the right move last year on L.A. Riot, but this new tape cements that notion. Not only that, but it finds Thurz taking a break from the harder-hitting subject matter for a slab of (mostly) fun hip-hop. It also finds him collaborating with the likes of BJ The Chicago Kid and Killer Mike, both of whom have had great 2012s, too. [via]
