Thundercat – “Oh Sheit It’s X”

Thundercat’s Apocalypse was already off to a great start with the release of single “Heartbreaks + Setbacks”, but now we get yet another taste of what is to come from the bassist’s new LP. The second single is “Oh Sheit It’s X”, a grooving disco throwback that is more fun and loving than anything we have heard from Thundercat in past years. And Flying Lotus‘ influence is certainly present, too, especially in some of the synthesizers and percussion. But as you can see, Thundercat is continuing to move further and further into uncharted territory, and we can’t help but join him for the ride.
