For his latest drop, Thelonious Martin is keeping it short and very sweet on “生命の木” aka “Tree of Life”. The song might only run for less than 90 seconds, but it’s still capable of bringing feelings out of you thanks to the Chicago producer’s deft sample chopping. The guitars and vocals that play with each other here remind me of some sitting-around-on-a-Sunday-contemplating-the-meaning-of-life type shit.
