The xx’s Coexist was a fine sophomore effort, expanding on their delicate, distant sound brought about by their stunning debut. To help continue promotional efforts, the band has teamed up with the Creator’s Project to drop official visuals for recent album cut, “Chained“. Young Replicant does a fine job of capturing the lonely tones of this single, employing dark aquatic themes that run throughout. The rocky beaches and abandoned public pools prove to be effective locales for the film, opening up the cryptic production for further interpretation.
