According to a press release, the White Mandingos‘ latest single, “Warn a Brotha”, centers on what it’s like to turn into a rock star over night and see everyone and everything change around you. The narrative is driven by Murs’ frustration-induced rhymes as the character Tyrone White, who apparently is the protagonist on the group’s debut album. Everything about said project, The Ghetto Is Tryna Kill Me, is starting to make a lot more sense.
